The mission of HERR Health and Research is to address health disparities and advance health equity through community-based participatory research that examines the relationship between the social determinants of health and health outcomes for women of color. HERR Health Researchers bridge the science-to-service gap by serving not only as researchers, but also as community partners ensuring research is disseminated and translated through evidence-based programs designed to reach populations disproportionately impacted by structural inequities. HERR diverse research staff have over a decade of research experience, training and certifications in Good Clinical Practice, the Protection of Human Subjects, research design and methods and biostatistical analysis. HERR Health and Research fosters a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion within our investigator teams, and throughout our innovative research projects. Through our collaborations, we ensure all women are afforded the opportunity to participate in and benefit from public health research.
